SVX in France
 

Do we have any correspondents in France? Does anybody know if the SVX was ever sold in France? I could be going to live there and it's evidently easier to register a UK car in France if the model was previously sold there.
Any thoughts or information would be much appreciated.

I searched all the gallaries for a familiar "face" on this French site and didn't see one.

I saw darned near everything else (including an NSX a Farrari and a couple of Porsches), but no SVX. :(

Hi everyone, There was a member trying to fix his tranny in his backyard in the south of France. He took regular "wine" breaks between bouts of tranny fixing. I haven't heard anything from him in a while. I think he was an American living in France. So you might have one SVX in France. Take care, BOBB

I remember recentely two new members from France.

One is kees from Tourrettes sur Loup.

I tried to find the other one ID but failed to succeed.
I seem to remember that he imported his from Germany which was a big market for SVX's.
At this precise moment you can find 32 units on sale online.

Anyway, as far as I know the SVX was sold in France but in dramatically low figures. Probably no more than 10 to 20 units.

In France there is a 1996 black one on sale at this moment at http://www.abmoteurs.fr/occasions.html with almost 190.000km for 9.000 Euro.

You should have no problems finding parts for the scheduled maintenances but big repairs might be a different story as stock of parts for our cars in Europe is going down meaning it might take a lot of time (and money) to get it.

Hi Paulo, you are right as for parts, my engine parts are on the way from Japan for month and something... I had waited for my crank sensor for moth and half to be on the road again.
