ROFLMAO your right! I second that dilemma. I sent that 96 ecu to Michael in the middle of last year. Realistically I think we will be lucky if we see it by 2006 or if we even see it at all. |
can't wait much longer.......STi calling.......will try to resist......

ARF! MY GAWD WHAT A DOG!
Alltrac,
Please tell me you're good at Photoshop and you took the grill from the new and as yet not in production SVX and placed a smaller version on the front of an STi? 'Cause everyone's right...it's HIDEOUS!!! Why can't the Japanese take a hint and just let Italdesign style their cars? "Hello? Subaru? My '92 SVX IS STILL one of the best lookin' cars on the road. Your new wagons look very sharp, quite handsome...so if this photo is of the the new STi SHAME ON YOU. IT'S HIDEOUS!!! CALL ITALDESIGN IMMEDIATELY!!! AUUUUUUGGGGGHHHHH I THINK I'M GOING BLIND!!!" WGJ |
I guess they'de rather have Pininfarina go crazy all over their line ups' ars, and faces.
Even though I do not think it is that bad, it looks better than the concept and those headlights and the thinner side grills aside from the center one add sort of that 22b look. I agree, why didn't Subaru just hire ITALDesign again. I guess now since they became automotive design veterans of the industry their expected earnings or price for hire has gone way up. So I guess they have moved on to companies with bigger checkbooks such as Toyota, GM and Hyundai (don't be fooled by their automobiles they make much more larger things. |
Grill
Subaru designers appear to be hung up on that Fiat style grill. There new SUV (upsized) has a very similar one.

Actually it's Alpha Romeo not Fiat, and the idea is that eventualy all their vehicles will have that style nose.
