I was going to try to offer it for the same price as OEM.

No word yet on anodized tanks or the added cost.

Questions

being ignorant...

If I get this, and my tranny finally goes south (paranoid), do I need to replace this b/c of clogged lines or something?

Do we have a final cost set on these?

It removes the need for an aftermarket cooler?

Installable at home by mechanicly minded person?

When will the project be finished/ payment be required?

I am very interested, if it replaces the ATF cooler.

Aluminum radiator

How many people have committed to the group purchase?
How difficult will replacing the OEM radiator be?
How will the tranny cooler hook up?
I'm v. interested...my "92 seems to radiate a great deal of heat from underneath the car, particularly in the summer here in s. cal. so I'm concerned about the longevity of the trans.
Thanks,
WGJ

If you look back a couple post you will see that 11 people have committed.

Ah geez Edith...

Kinda bad timing with X-mas round the corner...so I really can't absolutely commit...but i can tentively commit Chris, as I have Chad's old ride...and it do need a new coola.;) I'll say hi for u next time I see him :D " Hit me up in a couple days"

hey earthworm, that plastic weld my old man laid down blew apart thurs night. I continued to cut it off and i found the crack was not completely cut out. i cut the crack completely out and welded it myself this time. still not missing a beat. just letting you know the plastic weld is holding up very well.

Ok, I'm in, sort of

As long as I don't have to move the positioning of the battery, AC or any other parts around and can be installed with moderate ease I'm in.:D

Oops, I guess I didn't read, too little too late for me. Good thing is at least now I get to order it in my leisure.

Yes, we are moving! I just posted yesterday that a radiator was being shipped to PWR for measurements. One of our old time members (Immortal Subie) shipped it Thursday to PWR. He didnt spare any expense to time either, for he shipped it Fed-Ex. It shoudl arrive sometime today at PWR. Cool!?:D

Sorry for the O/T, but that address stuck a chord in my mind. Any relation to the Elsinore Brewery???? :D :D :D

immortal_suby 11-22-2004 04:16 PM

Yeah, 1 lb - we get a flat rate for shipping from the plant for everything so they just type in 1 lb everytime.

According to the tracking it still hasnt been delivered?

Earthworm 11-22-2004 04:22 PM

I wonder if they SWAK'd the package?

(I'm Fedex Tech support now)

Maybe I'll look into this.

...looks like someone provided an incorrect recipient address.
