front diff. replacement instructions?
 

does anyone have the instructions on how to replace the front diff? ihave been looking on the internet and in our HOW-TO section and cant find anything.

prop motor up
drain trans and front diff fluids
remove exhaust, driveshaft and trans support
remove axles and all electrical connections to trans
unbolt and drop trans
remove/ replace front diff.

Install is the reverse

thats kinda the obvious but there is nothing special that you have to do for it

just take your time and make sure you have a full set of tools with you.

Get the diff. housing to transmission case gasket, as well as the tube that seals the torque converter shafts and such, last thing you want is that leaking and getting tranny fluid in your diff.

Also, what's the last 8 of your VIN? Looks like you have a pearlie, I do too, and mine came from the east coast (NY to be exact), so they are probably pretty close in serial #.
