Question about Replacing rear diff bushes in the rear subframe
Question about Replacing rear diff bushes in the rear subframe.
1st how do I go about getting the old ones out? can they be pushed out? Does it matter what way the get pushed out? also what way do they go around? Do I just push the new ones in? Do they stop moving when they get so far? Thanks :) http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i1...cture11448.jpg |
Re: Question about Replacing rear diff bushes in the rear subframe
Well the fact you're asking means the center piece has separated so that will just fall out.
The easiest way to remove them is to cut through the outer ring with any tool of preference then use a screwdriver or similar to peel the ring out. There are a few threads on the subject near the time of the group buy. |

Re: Question about Replacing rear diff bushes in the rear subframe
I'm guessing but I would say the side without the part# / arrow would go in first (the part that sticks out further)
My reasoning: You wouldn't see the arrow/part# if it was the other way around and it's easier to press in without worrying about breaking the new one. |
