Our newest SVXer

Welcome to our newest svxer - Jacob Leighton Davis.
Born saturday april 2nd.
Mother and baby are doing well.
Me, I am more tired than I have ever been. :)
But - I will have to stay home for a few weeks to help with him (and that will give me plenty of time to drop this engine in and get my svx back on the road)
:D

Matt,
Congrats!! I still remember when you brought the phrase "tricycle motor" into this site :D
Guess this means you won't be making Reading?
-Bill (proud father of a son and two daughters....thus my lack of Reading this year :p )

immortal_suby 04-05-2005 09:13 AM

Thanks guys.
No, I won't be making reading, and no webcam this year. :o

Oh well, I'll make next year and I'll have a navigator with me. It won't be long, he'll be putting down his lb-ft to the tricycle. :D

Congratulations You think you are tired now, just wait! :D :p Have fun, they don't stay small very long.

Congrats Matt. We're a month behind. Due May 12th.

immortal_suby 04-05-2005 09:56 AM

We were due May 1st. Had a nice April fools day suprise at 4am Friday when her water broke. Of course we did not have a thing packed since we thought we had another month.
I did get to *ahem* break a few rules in the forester on the rush to the hospital. The little bugger held on until April 2nd though - 30 hours later we had a little boy.
Ultrasound was wrong though, they aged the baby and said he was 38 weeks old - about 2 weeks early vs. the 4 weeks we thought we had.

Got some more pics here if anyone is interested. http://www.imagestation.com/album/pi...?id=2128555446
Edit - I just realized in most of those pics I am wearing my long sleeve svx world network shirt from Todd (wawazat)

My mother in law flew in and we let her drive the SVX while we were in the hospital. She said, "Oh my God, Matt - you're going to let me drive your SVX! I can't believe it."
I told her that I wasn't crazy - she is going to be driving Kim's SVX. :D :D

That's a lot of effort to go through just to make some time to work on your engine! :p

Congrats :D

Okay, so we were 11 days behind :D. I hope ours doesn't come quite so early as it would cut into Reading a bit :D . Glad everything came out well and hope you're doing well with the catch up with all those things you had a month to do.

Great news Matt! You two were on my mind a LOT this weekend...coincidence??? :D

Glad to hear Jacob arrived happy and healthy, though somewhat <ahem>premature<ahem>. Family trait passed down from his father's side   :p :p :p :D

Nice shirt BTW buddy! That combo is my favorite (white shirt w/Laguna embroidering). I'll have to make me one for myself one of these days.

Best to Kim from me and Wendy.

Todd
