Seat mechanism

I have a 92 pearl AWD and it has an all-electric driver seat. The seat back rotation mechanism has somehow come adrift so that the only places it will lock are the forward and backward extreme positions ( ). Does anyone have any idea how I can make the least invasive entry to the mechanism - its all suede and leather and I can't see any simple access point. Any quick fix would be great as I don't relish taking the whole seat out.....!

If it only locks all the way back use the motor to bring it back up. Could it be that simple?

I would agree. There have been some members who have had the same problem, and when they used the electric adjust, it worked just fine. :) I hope it fixes it for you too.

PS Welcome to the site. ;) :)

May this be your first of many SVX discoveries making you think to yourself, "I didn't know this car could do that. This car is awesome!" :D
