tranny related problem
 

i just bout a 92, it shifts great, but when i got in it to drive it home, i noticed and felt a clunk when the car is moving.. the sound speeds up with the speed of the car. Its loud enough that people passing by can hear it! so anyways, i get it home, and get all 4 wheels off the ground, and notice the sound coming from the front diff. and the right front wheel dosent spin, without help..also the cv joints are still there! so im guessing it something inside the diff..now what i wonder is, i have access to a 99 imprezza ..the whole car..so if i do the 5 speed swap, will i replace that front diff?

yeah, i forgot that i posted that! well, i took the tranny out, and found that in the front diff, the ring and pinion gears were torn up..i also founf that the pinion gear is one of the last to come out of the tranny! so after all that, i decided to sell it
