Holy Return of the Gas Mileage Batman
WOW... All I can say is wow. I replaced the spark plugs a few weeks ago and the car came alive. Last week I replaced the fuel filter and this weekend I changed the oil. I made a jump of roughly 10 to 13 MPG up to the mid to high 20 MPG range with normal easy going driving. I am so happy. I used to make the 50 mile round trip commute to work at a 1/4 tank eating rate. Now I can get back and forth twice before I expend a 1/4 tank. I did however realize that it takes roughly $60 to fill the tank up from nearly empty.
Another note is this. My butt-o-meter says the car feels faster. Hooray.:D |
you know.. maby i should do that too. its a hell of a lot cheeper than screwing with O2 and takes half the time. my filter probably needs to be changed anyway. i might just have to do that tomorow. Dont know why i didnt think of it before.
