e-bay 92 touring ends 1/16
 

i just noticed that a ct dealer has a 92 with like 123,000 miles, one dent (not too bad) that's only up to $2,500 app. this morning. ends today at about 5 p.m. looks like a really good deal for someone.

I have been bidding on it.

did you get the car? what did it go for? i went to the grocery store to make sure i wasn't near a computer when the auction ended. TRUE, NOT A JOKE!) i was REAL interested in it but my wife would leave me if i bought another car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it went 2850. Although it was under my limit, I let this one go. I talked to the dealer and there were a couple of things to fix. Axels, bearing etc.

If'n it don't snow in this locale pretty soon, she's liable to make you put YOURS on E-Bay. Has she been driving it?

1) as to driving the svx, i usually get to do it on weekends (although i complained so she left it home yesterday and today!).

2) as for e-bay, as usual i will never stop being gullable. the e-bay ad for that silver 92 said that besides the smallish dent there were "no known problems". i guess the axel, bearing problems developed after the dealer placed the ad.

3) i did break down and get the struts for both the hood and trunk. in the interm i thought up a new jeff foxworthy, "you might be a redneck if you use a broom handle to hold up the hood of your car.
