Who knows where it'll end...in central VA I paid $2.15 for premium this morning - and some places in town are selling it for $2.25!

Remember that the price of goods will go up in direct proportion to the increase in gas prices. Every company that has trucks will be increasing their rates for everything to help compensate for higher gas prices. And there aren't many things that don't get shipped by truck. This is a larger problem than simply higher pump prices.

For premium, I paid 2.49 last night. :(

Somebody sent me an email to spread around not to buy gas on Wednesday the 19th. Some sort of boycott. I wasn't planning on going anywhere on Wed, so I won't buy gas. Wonder if it'll work?

Gas here in IN is usually about 15-20 cents cheaper than twenty miles away across the border into IL. It is $2.30 for premium here!! I can't handle this.

STUPID gas executives are really showing us how much we depend on them!!!, THIS very MUCH ANGERS ME!!!, i mean, enough is enough already!!, but like i said in the other post, it will always be like that i reckon, greedy few making the rich richer and the poor poorer, and attempting to make the middle class suffer as well!!  :

RSVX 05-17-2004 07:13 PM

its 2.03 for premium here...

hooray for living in the state with the lowest gas prices, but the most expensive car insurance!!

I think?

Please stop complaining: you probably have the cheapest petrol in the world. We have to pay $5.55 per gallon over here.

Just wait until "Global Peak Oil", predicted sometime in 2010. That's when demand will exceed available supply - permanently. I expect the price will then rise until the demand falls to the level which can be supplied.

Phil.

This will help getting alternative power sources. I know that it won't help our SVXes, but if there are more hybreds driving around and the demand drops off, maybe it will get better. :)

Is that all you guys do is complain. lol

A nice alternative to paying for pricey gas, would be to go to a truck stop. They are generally cheaper than convienience stores
like Chevron, Stinker, Texaco, Shell, Sunoco, 76, 66, and many others.

At the local Flying J truck stop, I pay $2.13 per gallon. Not really that bad, compared to what some of you pay.

out here in Cali its up to $2.51 when i filled up today. I usually just dump $20 in it every other week anyway, so it hasn't realy had a huge affect on me, though im hoping prices go down soon. Thankfully i can adjust, and i don't have to really make long trips very often.
