Another Mac Funny
|
Hahaha!!! That one is good!!! I remember using those old Macs back in Middle School... They would always crash if ya did anything wrong to them :D:D
|
No one else liked it??? I thought it was great... can't wait for the other ones on www.lickmysweaty.com/truth to get done :):)
|
I loved it...I can crash a mac easier than a P.C.

On another note, I drove to detroit last weekend and picked up a 1ghz g4 17" flat panel iMac. It's freaking awesome.... runs everything silky smooth fast, it's so quiet you can barely hear anything, and... it's just a great computer.
I couldn't be happier. But I am. Why? I also picked up an 800mhz G4 titanium powerbook, which I'm using right now. It's INCREDIBLE. I feel sorry for all you ignorant retards who use windows and bash macs. I really do. You don't know what you're missing. Just because there are more honda civics on the road than SVXs does not mean the civic is a better car. - Rob |

No matter what you have, someone out there hates it. (and I do know what i'm missing, which is precisely why I am missing it) |
I have a G4 Titanium 400 running Panther. I havent restarted it in over a month, and it runs smoothly and flawlesly. I have never experianced a crash in the entire time ive had Panther.

I used a new mac for the first time this past Thursday. It was confusing......but the colors were cool :D I needed more time w/ it to form a solid opinion though. It was fast though, and the speaker set up it had rocked.

by the way i didnt really understand the link, and I wish people wouldnt post things that had such questionable language.

i know exactly what i'm missing. i feel sorry for you, because your too g*ddamn stupid to use a PC. too many options and tweakability might confuse a simpleton such as yourself. simple computers for simple minds. "oooh, looky at the nice colors and pretty case! so easy to make a crappy little video!" |

On the other hand, PCs are just as reliable as Macs, are cheaper and more practical for the average consumer WHILE offering higher performance and an endless selection of great looking cases. Now how can you argue with that logic? Quote:

But yeah, Macs are so 'simple'. They're so retarded, if only we were all still using 1.4 meg floppies and serial connectors! Wouldn't that be great! And we wouldn't have any of these things either: The Trackpad: Apple started using it with the PowerBook 500 Series in 1994. Now it's standard on all laptops, Mac or DOS. TrueType Fonts: They were Apple TrueType fonts. Apple, yes, our favourite fruit company, started it first. It's now virtually standard on all PCs. The first complete laptop: I'm talking about a laptop that does not have the hard drive and co as a separate bump, but rather integrated with the whole machine. It debuted with the PowerBook 100. The floppy disk's birth: Apple used the 3.5" floppy disk instead of the 5.25" one. The floppy disk's death: Apple killed it in 1997 - the floppy was rapidly becoming a technological joke. These days, hardly anyone uses disks anymore. FireWire: Apple and TI (Texas Instruments) came up with this killer solution to the difficult world of SCSI in 1996, 'implanted' it in Macs beginning in 1999, and heaven knows what a success story this has been. A fully workable GUI that just works from the first mouse click - manuals not needed. Need I say more? Quote:

There are some things that don't fit on a statistical chart. The SVX looks like a piece of crap if you just stare at the numbers.. it's pricey, has a lot of issues, and expensive to fix/maintain. Does that mean it's crap? NO. Macs are expensive for a reason.... you get a complete package. You get fast hardware, beautiful design, an incredible OS that's rock steady, and applications designed specifically to be efficient and user-friendly. With a PC, you get a cheap price, speedy processor, and an endless selection of parts... as for practical... I disagree. I think macs are more practical. I was using my iMac til last week that I purchased in 1999. Macs generally get 'used' a lot longer than a PC from the same year, so even with a higher initial cost it might be cheaper than upgrading your PC every 6 months. PCs have the edge in all out speed, which is important in games... and.... not a much else. So yeah, if you're a huge gamer, get a PC. But I don't see any other reason to, unless you're into some completely off the wall thing like satellite card programming..... - Rob |
