rwj remided me
he actully bought an svx in new york!!! the first one i "bought" was in new york, i was high bidder on e-bay (remember the key word here is "high"). the ad said how the car was in good shape, a few minor dings, although it needed a windshield due to a large crack. i priced the windshield and bid on the car. sent the guy a deposit with a letter saying i expected it back if the car wasn't as described. drove the 4 hours up and took a look at the car. a mean it was obviously stolen, joy ridden to death and smashed against something. front end had damage, wires hanging from under the dash, dents in the doors. a piece of s***. "but for the price you bid it's reasonable". the guy says (who claimed he was selling it for a friend). at least he never cashed my deposit check. what the hell, on the way home we were near coney island so i gorged on nathan's frog legs, fries and dogs at the original stand!!

my mom is actually picking up her SVX this weekend in New York, its red with 45k on the dial, and in almost perfect showroom condition, shes driving it home today, so if you see a red SVX (97) heading from new york towards Chicago, thats probably her.:)
