Who has the 4.11 Automatic?
 

Does nay one know how the Legacy automatic with the 4.11 diff's is running in the SVX? I do not remember who Jesse did the work for. I wanted to know how it was doing.

SVX-FF, and Chiketdk both have 4.11s. I know Chi ke's trans is an 96 Impreza, and his rear diff is a Legacy.
Jesse did a 5 speed.

Both Jesse and Chi ke are drag racing, and as faras I know, FF drives like a grownup:D . Tom

Yup, I have a '96 Impreza Outback Sport 4EAT in my SVX and it has been running perfectly during the 3K+ miles that I've had it in my car. I regularly carve up backroads with my car, and I've been to the dragstrip with it once already. No problems and it still shifts like a dream!!!

My gas mileage hasn't been too bad either. I get a bout 21.5-22mpg in mixed city & highway, and 25mpg in 90%+ highway driving. Not great, but definitely numbers you can live with...

That was Adams car (Alacrity 024) That I swaped in 4:11s to. He bought a WRX wile the SVX was down, so he drives that most of the time now. But as far as I know it's still running good and fast.

wow. Do you think a tranny place would put in this type of Tranny when it comes time to replace mine?

Yes I think a tranny shop would do that. If you bought the used tranny and rear diff you might want them to rebuild it before putting in.
