Radiator w/ metal tanks found !
1 Attachment(s)
problem is, Its used and bought it off the internet
from a totalled car. Someone spent some serious time to build BRASS metal upper and lower tanks that replicate the original plastic ones. I have no idea who did it and cant find any name on the unit so far. I took off some of the paint you can see shiney brass tanks  If one was made, Im sure more can be. Just have to find someone willing to take on the challange :( |
Awesome find! I wouldn't waste my time looking for the craftsman tho, proably someone angry enough to not pay $300 for a new one.

Holy crap!
Would someone really do that and only do one? <-- got complimented on my PWR aluminum rad by the guy doing my exhaust last week. :D |

That is an amazing find. Maybe the guy worked at a radiator shop and did it in his spare time?
I'd love for you to track back the VIN and previous owners and find out who made it, why, and how many of them they made. Oh, and if they'll make more :) From the picture, it looks like good quality construction. Doug |
Im going to get the VIN off the car and carfax it
and take it from there. The car was from the Wash state area, Tacoma was its last home I think, that or Dubuque Iowa |
