I've seen this one on eBay a few times now.

You can still (at least last time I checked) get the full manual sets from the dealer.

WestCoastSVX 03-25-2008 02:12 PM

He's insane! And how much is he spending on posting fees every time these go up? Posting fee is based on minimum bid or reserve.

I don't think it's due to the cupholders because it seems this seller thinks highly of all owner's manuals. Check out the bottom of the page where it has links to "other auctions by this seller". He has a Subaru Tribeca manual set for over $300!!! And a 1999 Isuzu Amigo manual for well over $100.

He is insane. Noone will buy at those prices. I have seen some strange ones though. I saw a sock full of quarters (white sock with $6.35 of quarters and other change) sell for $37.83. Who would buy that? Like they say, "There is one born every minute."   And it only takes one to sell on ebay. :D

Unreal

Yeah, how bout the Cornflake shaped like the state of Illinois that sold for $1,300 on ebay. It boggles my mind the things that people think of selling, but even more that there are fools who will pay it.

Suby Fan 03-25-2008 10:34 PM

how is he a power seller??? with a LOT of feedback??

lhopp77 03-26-2008 10:25 AM

Waste of Money

Its a waste of money to buy the OEM cupholder. You might use it once and realize what a PITA it is. Totally nonfunctional in my opinion. I have one that I tried one time and only keep it for collector reasons which is all it is good for. (it came with the car)

That guy thinks he's got gold. He charges ridiculous prices for everything.

I would be willing to ride along in passenger seat and hold someone's cup for $200

I dont know that the cost to benefit ratio would be there... I mean, you would add more wieght, thus affecting his gas mileage. And depending on the length of the trip, you could easily cost him/her more than the $200.

I'm good at reading maps too, another added benefit
:)
