parking brake light stuck

after i finally fixed my cigarette lighter, i noticed my parking brake light stays on all the time now, regardless if it's on or not. could i have hit a wire or moved something in a way to keep that light on constantly? i'm about to go take apart that center piece and see. any help is appreciated :]

Check the level of your brake fluid.

edit: i'm at halfway brake fluid... better go pick some up.
as soon as i took the lid off and put it back on, the light went off! thanks for the suggestion :]

You did push the lid (bladder) back together before you put it back on, right?

If you're losing fluid at an unusually quick rate there's also a chance a brake line has rusted.

CHECK YOUR BRAKE LINES ASAP or have them checked.
