First mod some Eibachs, Evidently i was a bit rough on one of the outer cv boots(bottom of strut r grazed boot causung a tiny crack and grease leak(as evident by specks of grease on inside of rim. i decided to try and tackle this myself. Got the hub off the car.... Peeled back outer boot and whiped of old grease.......im stuck,,,,how do i dissasemble driveshaft...looking at joint its the kind with 6 ball bearings in a cage........i havent pulled the shaft from tranny trying to do it on the car..........any advice??? PS Stealership wanted $240 P&L to change boot....thanks guys:confused:

If you clean out all the grease, you should see a snap ring in there. Remove that, then you'll be able to take it apart. Then stretch the new boot over the end, then re-grease and re-assemble.

its not worth the hassle to try to rebuild it and you have to remove it from the car to do that.. i would recomend buying a new one at a parts store they are only 50 bucks
