Lan's Ebony 94 Lsi

This is the car you've always seen on the ECUtune website and now the Subiechips website. The car you've always seen on the dyno with a prototype performance chip or nitrous system or supercharger. There's a photo album on the Subiechips website where you can walk down memory lane and look at cool SVX stuff.http://www.subiechips.com/photoAlbum.htm

Location of the SVX: Miami, FL

Year: 1994

Model: LSI

VIN: JF1CX3557RH102706

Manufacture date: 02/94

Paint Color: Ebony

Interior Color: Beige

Miles: A little less than 1600 miles on driveline. I forgot to record the mileage on the old gauge cluster which I later discarded in a garage clean out so I really can't tell you accurately what the mileage is on the body. The gauge cluster in the car reads 61,011 but the actual mileage is more in the range of 120,000 to 140,000 miles.

Location: 100% Florida car has never seen salted roads--currently resides in my air conditioned garage.

Options: floor mats

AWD or FWD: AWD

Modifications:
-Subiechips JDM ECU chip with 503CC STI yellow top fuel injectors and z32 air flow meter
-Subiechips JDM TCU chip
-Custom dual exhaust with 2.25" pipes, stainless steel high performance magnaflow cats, stainless steel magnaflow x-flow center muffler, pair of dynomax super turbo mufflers, OE exhaust tips
-Galvanized drilled and slotted rotors
-Infiniti kappa seperate speakers all around
-Pioneer premier head unit
-Fenderwell mounted plate and fin transmission cooler with inline thermostat controlling a high performance fan
-Fresh JDM driveline (performance rebuilt JDM VTD transmission, JDM engine taken down to the short block and re-assembled with genuine Subaru gasket and seal set and new head bolt set, 06 WRX 3.7 rear end with SVX limited slip differential installed)

Major service:
There isn't much mechanical that hasn't been replaced. Since the entire driveline has been replaced several times I will of course only mention parts that are still on the car. I will forget many things that have been done but this is what I can remember right now.
-2004 new genuine Subaru rear springs and bushings installed
-2004 new genuine Subaru radiator installed
-2004 new genuine Subaru driveshaft installed
-2004 all axles serviced with new genuine Subaru boots, bands, and grease
-2004 new genuine Subaru AC compressor installed
-2009 new genuine Subaru Snorkus installed
-2009 new genuine Subaru AC hose installed
-2009 new genuine Subaru Power steering hose installed
-2009 new genuine Subaru coils installed (complete set of 6)
-2009 new genuine Subaru engine harness installed
-2009 all calipers rebuilt with genuine Subaru rebuild kits, akebono ceramic pads and galvanized drilled and slotted rotors installed
-2009 all wheel bearings replaced with genuine Subaru bearings and seals
-2017 new Duralast gold battery installed
-2017 new Genuine Subaru alternator installed

Engine Condition: Stellar
JDM Engine with about 1600 miles since I went through it. There is a thread on these forums with all the details and pictures of this engine when I did the JDM driveline swap. It is located here: JDM driveline swap

Maintenance Records: I have tried my very best not to let anyone else touch this car. I have about a billion dollars in parts receipts in my tax files which I will dig out for you if you really want them.

Transmission condition: Stellar
JDM VTD transmission with about 1600 miles since I gave it a performance rebuild. There is a thread on these forums with all the details and pictures of this transmission when I did the JDM driveline swap. It is located here: JDM driveline swap

Glass condition: Good
All the windows work properly and have no damage.

Type of tire and remaining tread: 100% on front 80% on rear

Type of wheels: 18" ROH Drift R's

Interior condition: Much better than average but not on par with the rest of the car just because the leather is old.

Body condition: Excellent
This is a 100% Florida car that has never seen a salted road. It has never been crashed. It has no rust and all vin matching doors and body panels. In 2004 the entire car was painted with the best paint available--Dupont Chroma Premier. It is still exceptionally shiny and impressive looking. If you carefully examine the car there are very small flaws here and there but it gives an excellent impression from both far and near.

Known defects or problems: It's ready for new leather.

Comments about the car: This is a very sharp looking car. Mechanically, this is the best SVX you are ever going to find. It sounds awesome. Seriously, it sounds really good. It is also a rust free Florida car so you aren't wasting money on something that's rotting away under you.

Asking price:I'm going to auction it on ebay with a low starting price, probably in the $5k range.

Pictures:
The car has only left the garage a handful of times since these pictures were taken but...
those times were to:
1) test the yellow top injectors and z32 air flow meter and matching firmware which aren't in these pictures
2) to put the ROH Drift R's back on it.
So it has several thousand dollars more goodies on it now.

I took this picture when I had the bumper off. You can see the atf cooler on the right side

Another one from when I had the bumper cover off does a good job of showing the lights and the engine bay. The lights are painted with clear coat so they don't yellow or get dull.

Thank you both. Well I think the pictures and video are pretty thorough now. I may try to take it somewhere tomorrow to get it up on a lift to take pictures of underneath the car.

I'll probably list it on Ebay this Sunday.

How many owners has this car had? We're interested in the car. Messaged you.

Re: Lan's Ebony 94 Lsi

I asked for a Carfax in the Carfax request section of the forums to post here but nobody has offered one...none the less, there is a free vehicle history report included in the ebay listing now that I've listed it on ebay too.

The report says there have been 5 owners.

It was leased in Jacksonville fl
then it was sold and went to orange city fl
then it went to st petersberg fl
then it went to cape coral fl
then I brought it to Miami and tampa fl

It has never left Florida and has never been crashed.

No problem, like I said though, He's alittle slow and im not sure when he will get to it. It's actually a guy from another web site and he does dozens of VINs every day.
