Wrecked SVX best options?
 

I have a 1996 Laguna Blue SVX Lsi. I wrecked it last winter in the front and I'm not going to fix it. I'm not sure what I could get for it as is and I don't really have the time to part it out. What are some suggestions for getting the best bang for my buck. I loved this car but it needs to go.

Looks highly fixeable for me, this is my second best color on an SVX. :(

I think its completely fixable. A month after I got my SVX (back in Jan. of 2000) I had a nasty wreck in it...look here for pics. I had it done at the subaru dealership there in KC and it took them about 6 weeks (most of that was ordering parts from japan) and the cost came to right at $12k.

Thats a beautiful blue SVX, i'd fix it in a heartbeat. Best of luck :)

Do you mean 12K or 1.2K? Nevertheless it has 155k miles on it right now. You think if I fix it, it will be worth it for the sale? I'm not really sure how much I could get for it repaired.

Pictures, definitely need pictures. I might have enough parts to fix it.

EDIT: Missed SilverSpear's post...I have everything but the headlights and grill. That looks like an easy one, much easier than mine, I replaced the passenger's side of mine, quarter and all.

You have no idea how tempting it is, but I need to concentrate on mine. Then after it is done, concentrate on this other poor neglated car of mine:

I'm not an SVX nut, I just own one (and a half), I don't need more. Actually, if I did buy it, it would probably stay Laguna Blue because only the nose would be painted. I'd only buy it if it were dirt cheap, so I could fix it and sell it. I already have people wanting mine, but so much time is being put into mine to make the body flawless that it won't be cheap, I could fix that blue one and have it in paint in a week.

I just like oddball cars, anything out of the ordinary that catches my eye, I want. The most normal car I've owned was my first, a 1966 Mustang, sold that to buy my 1975 AMC Gremlin that I use as a daily driver. I'd much rather finish that Rambler instead of buying something I already have.
