New Rims or Redo Factories ones
Hey, I am in Seattle....
Are there any shops here that can redo ( Straighten, Lip repair, glass bead, powder coat) our factory rims? Or maybe after market ones? Ideas anyone? |
I'm sure there are shops in your area (or relatively close) that could refinish your stock rims. However, you may prefer the look of some aftermarket rims more, since the cost of refinishing stock rims may not be worth the cost (unless you really like the stock rim look).

I would go w/the aftermarket wheels, even though the stock cromes are very sharp.

Use Transwheel
Check my very detailed post on this thread and the thread it links to as well. http://www.subaru-svx.net/forum/show...ght=transwheel Their Huntington, IN facility is fantastic! The nice thing is hat you have the option to have them send you 4 refinished wheels from their own inventory. They will charge you for the core, but after you put them on and send your old wheels back to them, they refund your core charge. This is great convenience if you don't have alternative transportation while waiting for your wheels to go out, be refinished, and returned to you here is a link to their services: http://www.transwheel.com/services/service.html#D Even if you didn't return them, the price for a perfectly refinished wheel from them, including the core charge, is less than half for a new OEM wheel (assuming they are still available) You can also find out some more info by typing TRANSWHEEL into the search box http://www.transwheel.com |
