http://www.northlight-images.co.uk/c...ied-tse-90.jpg But thanks to the magic of the internet, you can make these pictures for free with a simple online program: http://tiltshiftmaker.com/ It is seriously the coolest thing ever. The lenses cost like $5,000, (I'd rather get 2 more SVX's) but why buy one when you can do it online for free? Those of us who are photoshop-smart probably have a tool to do it too. This is the original: http://i532.photobucket.com/albums/e...d/DSC_0611.jpg And the tilt-shifted: http://i532.photobucket.com/albums/e...-tiltshift.jpg It just puts a bar of focus onto the image. It's the coolest thing ever. This would make a good calendar picture ;] Click http://www.flickr.com/photos/brothad...n/photostream/ and see if it lets you choose a bigger size. |
Re: Took the pearly out for a small photoshoot (picture heavy)
You have a very nice car. If you're ever in the mood to come up to Erie, I will help you detail it. An svx that nice deserves a good cleaning. :)
Also, have you ever considered removing that pin stripe? |
Re: Took the pearly out for a small photoshoot (picture heavy)
I am doing a few of those tomorrow ;)

Re: Took the pearly out for a small photoshoot (picture heavy)
It only goes up to 1042x681. I am 1680x1050. Got bigger you could email me or something? :/
And I agree about the pinstripe. My blue one has a pinstripe and I quite dislike it. |
Re: Took the pearly out for a small photoshoot (picture heavy)
I'll check the camera tomorrow to see if it was bigger on there, and I'll try to make the tilt-shift picture larger. And I kind of like the pinstripe. I don't know if it's stock, but it looks that way. It's really subtle, and it isn't anything flashy, so I haven't really thought to remove it.
I don't ever come up to Erie because I never have an excuse to, but I do now. I might come up some time soon :) I usually spend about 5 hours washing my car and detailing it, but someone threw away all my expensive detailing paraphernalia and I'm too cheap (poor) to go buy more. Your pearl is fantastic, I'm sure mine would be flattered to meet yours. ;) |

I can't stand a pinstripe on an SVX personally, but then again, I don't really like pinstripes on any car. And hey, you can come up and meet all of my SVXi that are currently "around" :p |

Nice pictures. :) Cant wait to get my own out for some photo shoot.

Re: Took the pearly out for a small photoshoot (picture heavy)
Surely you can do that with a normal lens ? as you have just de-focused the background? The tilt lens is mostly used for tall buildings.
