Man these thing are usualy $400.00 A little body work and It'll be good as new. I got this one for $132.00. I'll be making a mold and producing fiberglass ones for sure. I gota support my SVX habit somehow. LOL

those are nice and all but I love the stock look personally.
I miss my 88 XR4Ti :( |
I actualy got this car for my beautiful wife Angie.;) She cant wait till it's finished. She's quite the car nut. I am very lucky to of found her. We're gona make a Cosworth clone. Minus a Real Cosworth engine of course. If I had $7000.00 dollars laying around I'd buy her a 97 SVX.

Very nice! the mechanic down the road from me had thirteen, count em, 13 Merkurs on his property, three of them running. I was going to buy one, but I decided to get something less rare... like an SVX  :) :p

When I read the subject, I thought you'd sold the car!
|
Dose the mechanic down the street still have the XR4ti's? I would love to have a spare one for parts!!!!!

The Sierra was adored in the UK, but it never really caught on here in the US as the XR4Ti. You have any pics? I like the unloved and unusual. Which explains my truck, my ex-SVX, and my bikes. None mainstream, but "cultish".

Anyone looking for an IC/Rad combo? I know a guy who is selling one.

my old friend. It had 56k on it when I sold it (about 54k in this picture back in 2001)

I miss mine too!! I had an 85 model that had about 80k on it when I sold her. It was so cool seeing the look on people's faces trying to figure out what it was. What's a marecoor? lol....I finally got to point of just telling people it was a ford. Is British American Transfer still in business? I found some hard to find items thru them, granted they were a bit pricey on some items. That Cossie converstion would look sweet!!

Here is a picture. It was in a backyard and I caught a glimpse of the rear wing I thought it was a SVO Mustang at first. Then I stoped and was blown away when I saw it was a XR4ti with a for sale sign in it. (Pulled in the back yard) I think his wife wanted to sell it.:D So anyway it needed a intermediate timing shaft and a distributor to run. I got 3 more XR rims like the one in the back and new headlights off ebay and a SVO intercooler. I'm also going to graft in a SVO hood with functional scoop to feed the intercooler and when I have the money a saloon wide body kit$$$$$$$$$$$$. It's getting either Pearl white paint or, my wife wants a brownish Orange like the Lambro Orange. Were deadlocked as to the decision on that one. I wanted one of these since I was kid. I worked at dominos pizza and the Manager had one and took me for a ride and I was hooked. I bought a SVO Mustang Instead cuse I couldnt find one. Now I give this one to my wife.............Oh well I have my SVX:cool:
