Transmission Temp Reading

I have 3 questions

1. About how many degrees F is a good reading for the ATF?

2. Would it be better to have a ATF Cooler installed?

3. Which would be more suitable for a 4-cylinder: 20k GVW or 25K GVW?

Can any of you guys fill me in?

Ideally it would be nice to see a temperature range between 150° and 200°F. I have seen as high as 228°F on mine (sensor at radiator inlet) and normally around 210-215 in the city.

I would agree with David's post above on the temp.

It is a very good idea to have an ATF cooler installed.

Most of the coolers that have been installed are 18K to 24K GVW.

Good luck with the project. :)
