Road & Track's Guide to the Subaru SVX

Has anyone seen the magazine insert titled "Road & Track's Guide to the Subaru SVX"? The previous owner of the SVX I just bought was kind enough to send a copy of it to me with the car, along with some other car magazines with SVX reviews in them. The R & T guide is 98 pages long, has no advertising, and is full of cool info and pics showing lots of behind the scenes work regarding the styling, engineering and development testing cycles of the car, as well as driving tests and impressions. There's even a short article on the SVX CART pace car sponsored by PPG.

If anyone is interested I can scan some of it and make PDF files, perhaps even doing the whole issue. It'd take a while to do, but I'm willing to do it if there is interest in it.

I'd love to read it if you want to take the time to do it. I don' think its possible, as enthusiasts, to know too much about this wonderful vehicle.

Okay, Rob, calm down. First of all, can you tell me where ItalDesign's influence starts and ends? You're right, Subaru's styling department had already chosen a path and consulted Giugiaro. But look at his designs over the previous decade - it's easy to see that he pretty seriously 'reinforced' the SVX's design. The SVX, without a doubt, continues the themes he was developing on his own. Look at the Lotus Etna, a concept he did immediately prior - it smacks of SVX. If you look at Subaru's concepts prior to the SVX (the two I'm thinking of are the F9-X and Estremo), you can see that The SVX fits Giugiaro's trends way more than FHI's.

Hey, what's wrong with the quality of my scan? Yeah, so the pages get a little crooked towards the end, but that's the beer's fault, not mine.
