Dent Doctor

I've used Dent Doctor and they did a great job. My local car wash made a nice raquet ball sized dent in a 3-series BMW I had once. It cost the car wash place $100 to have it removed. This was in the year 2000; they charged around $50 - $100 for the first dent (depending on size and level of difficulty) and they said they would treat any additional dents for around $50 more dollars each. If you have a bunch of dents, you can probably negotiate a decent rate. The repair was invisible unless you knew it was there and then you had to look REALLY hard to see it.

I had the dent wizard look at a few on a 98 Legacy. They said the dents could not be fixed. They were in the hood were the bend is up front. I also had them look at the in the SVX doors and they said "nope" the metal was stretched too much.

Must not have had much confidence in his work...or he really isn't any good. :p

So I should try another place?

The quality of the work is up to the individual performing the work.
I have had some guys from "out west", Texas, and Wyoming, that were almost flawless. And their explanation was, out west they get hail storms all the time. To them it was no big deal. Some local guys are great, some not so great. I'd check the local BIG dealerships, and see who they recomend.

a week after i took delivery on my new legacy, i dicovered about ten decent-sized hail dents. i can't even remember where they were and totally forgot about them after they were fixed.
