My SVX's New Paint Job (pics inside!)
 

As many of you may know, my SVX has been in the paint shop for the last month or so. It was finished this evening and is quite spectacular. The guy that did it is a friend of mine, and did an AMAZING job repainting it the stock pearl white.

I'm sorry for the low quality of the pics. I was dealing with just the crappy lighting in my garage since I couldn't wait until morning.

The going rate for a paint job from him is around $2000-$2500. I paid much less though, because he owed me a favor. :)

Nice headlights. Are they refinished, or in that good of shape?

They're the original headlights and have never been refinished.

Awesome. I always wondered what those Z wheels would look like on a SVX. Do you have any other pics of it, and of different angles? Did you go with the 8 or 8.5 inch ones all around? I can't tell from the current pics, but it looks like it's an awesome match for the car.

They're RX8 wheels. 18x8. :)

Looks fantastic Mike! Nothing like a fresh pearl coat on these cars! :)

Love the wheels too! I've been pondering RX8 wheels for a while as they might be a closer match to stock offset and better weight than the ones I'm running now.

I wasn't sure if I would like the hood emblem delete either. I photoshopped it, and wasnt sure I liked it in the pics, but I went ahead and had him do it anyway. I love it now that I see it in person.

I want to keep the miles below 50k as long as possible, and don't plan on driving it except for on nice summer weekends.
