SVX spotted in game (not GT4)
 

Kaido Battle, it's by Genki, the same people who did the Tokyo Xtreme Racer series (I'm a fan of those BTW). You can modify your car in this game, I think, so I wonder what you can do to the SVX...

I just got my dreamcast to play import games, now I gotta get my PS2 to do the same...

I liked the TXR series, but it was rather boring after awhile. I hope GT4 is more like GT2 then 3. I'd like to be able to use a car more then twice. Making the races based on P/W would be better then just allowing a single model.

Ona these days I'ma see how my buddies over at XT6.net are doin' on their SC and ER27T kits.

Have you seen the swaps people have done?
The body is all you really need.
That and maybe a custom strut setup to keep the front end off the ground.

The XT6 is in TXR3, too. And you can actually buy that here (not an import), and mod the wazoo out of that thing!

i've also heard there's one in sega gt2002 for xbox, I have the game just havent really played it yet so i can't confirm.

yeah so apparently its an xt-turbo. there is an svx in the game aswell.

Not really, just 1/3 less cylinders, different bumpers, different bolt pattern, and cybrid steering. Also no digi gauge, turbo, or sunroofs in 6's. Pretty much the same car.

1/3 less dissplacement is I think what he ment by huge difference, and having owned them both I'd have to agree, in stock form, the XT Turbo doesn't hold a candle to the XT6....

And the XT6's 2.7 liter Boxer-6 seems to hold up much better...

the SVX is also in the orignal Gran Trismo game for the PSX in the Subaru used car lot. and as far as TXR goes are your sure that this is not TXR3?
I know the SVX was in Tokyo Highway Battle for the Saturn which later Became the first TXR state side for the DC anyways get back to me on this please.

Yeah, it's in GT1 & 2.
No this is not TXR3, the SVX is not in that. I don't remember the SVX being in the original TXR for Dreamcast either, but I can't confirm that. I can confirm that it's not in TXR2 (also for dreamcast).
Now I'm trying to figure out if the SVX is in Kaido Battle 2: Chain Reaction...
