who wants an aftermarket rear sway bar?

I am posting this here and not in the group buy section because these plans are still in their infancy, but I wanted to at least have people on this site informed of what I am trying to do.

A few weeks ago I emailed Tony at awrracing.com and asked him if their company would have ay interest in making a larger rear sway bar kit for the SVX. After a few emails back and forth, I have established that I am very interested in what they could do, and let's just leave it at that for now. I have experience with them ad my other car, the probe in regards to motor mounts, as well as a larger-than-stock rear sway bar. I can say firsthand that this is a TOP NOTCH product, and performs very well.

So basically, I am curious as to how many people would be interested in an aftermarket sway bar and accessories. It would include the bar, stiffer bushings, as well as endlinks (possibly adjustable.)

This is nothing set in stone at all yet, but the more interest I have, obviously I (and they) will be more interested in expanding our aftermarket.

Like I said, I don't have costs or specs yet, but I know on my probe bar it was around $200 for everything and it really was top notch stuff.

Even if there isn't much interest, I may still go ahead with one for myself if tooling costs aren't too high, but I just wanted all who are interested to know that I am trying to get something rolling and I'd appreciate your interest or support.

So, lets get a list going of who is interested.

p.s. I'll be at road america all weekend for the Super Moto race, so I most likely won't be responding at all until Sunday evening. Thanks to all who are interested, and if you have any questions feel free to PM me or email me at nevinbontrager@gmail.com. Just remember that I probably won't respond to it until Sunday night at the earliest.

Thank you!

I would want one depending on the price.

Ditto. I'd say $200 shipped to my door would be my breaking point - I can't justify spending more than that on one. If you think you can get it for under $200, count me in.

Absolutely, hands down, no question, PLEASE.

If adjustable can be done, I'd be all over that!

No question - we need these. Make them please! Knowing what they can do for the handling of a pig, $200 is a bargain.

since no one else picked up on the list......
