SVX Wheels & Tyres for sale

I have just bought some swanky new alloys so my originals are for sale. Pictures are in my locker. The tyres (Avon ZZ1) have about 5mm of tread and are evenly worn so they have a reasonable amount of life left. The wheels are suffering from lifting paint at the edges, but they have not been kerbed.

Anyone interested send me an offer via PM.
I will put them on ebay in a few weeks if no takers.

I will ship (UK), the total weight with nuts is 80Kg, this will cost £52 using City-Link. I do drive from Portsmouth to Coventry/Loughborough every other week so I could meet up to save the hassle of shipping.

Wish I could, Arthur, but I already have two fours, ah, eight, yes eleven SVX rims.

I would be summarily shot, no trial.:)

I need one rim to make up a spare set, so if you do not sell the set, and are splitting the set.......

keep me in mind.

Joe:)

PS That Forester Turbo Henry has from Japan, it makes about 240-260 hp. Goes like the clappers. Don't think the SVX would stay with it.

James, I have a shot of the new wheels in my locker.
They are EVO5 from:

Avon ZZ3 on the front Kumho ecsta on the back.

I bought them on ebay !

The SVX wheels have sold.
I have just picked up two new Avon ZZ3's (ebay again) so I now have four ZZ3's, that should last for a couple of years.

Phew!

They do say wheels are made to go round.

John, small world !
Well I am set up now, I like your old (like new) 5 spokes, and I have to say I never really liked the originals. One mans meat etc.

The originals have just gone tonight on ebay to a buyer in Portugal, they will be shipped to a UK address for onward shipping.

What would we do without ebay.

Anyway welcome to the forum, I tend to pop up when I want advice, and Joe is the man who knows a man usually.

Ah, a note for Andy - I swotted up on the epoxies and I have in the airing cupboard at this moment my length of aircon pipe with a cracking araldite mackled up repair, I am confident it will work.
Er indoors is muttering about black marks on a towel - dunno not me.

Well off topic, but has anyone had a go at recuperating the dessicant in the aircon dryer ? since my system is in bits I though about doing this. It should only need hot air blasting through it I think (Hair dryer and a funnel ? - Yorkshire engineering)

Small world indeed!

That has to be Tone who has bought your wheels.

At least your wheels are sticking with a colour theme; they are moving from a green car to a yellow car.

Nice one!

Joe:D

Arthur-UK 02-13-2005 04:11 AM

What sort of colour scheme is that !

svxistentialist 02-13-2005 05:15 AM

I said theme!

The colours are spectrally related.

Unless you take into account that the wheels are silver, which is not related to anything at all really.:)

:D
