So, for my birthday (Saturday), my lovely wife gave me the following:

The money to buy my transmission! Apparently she was squirreling it away. And here I just thought she was having an affair...

The factory service manuals! I've been poring over them since Saturday. WOOHOO! I can't wait to put these babies to use!

My brother was in town and he gave me a really nice creeper. I'm looking forward to using it, since all repairs so far have required me to just slide under the car on my back. My wife has thus described some of my shirts as 'unwashable.'

Happy Birthday, Nick! What a woman you have there! You are surely blessed. :)

Are you going with the 5-speed or staying automatic?
