Rear Bearings: which brand?
Anyone have experience with Beck/Arnley vs. Timken rear bearings? Some have recommended Timken and I saw one suggest that Beck/Arnley may be better. Any thoughts? For something like this, the price difference, IMO, isn't relevant. I'd like the better set.

Re: Rear Bearings: which brand?
Chances are that they are all made in china anyway... the way things have gone the last several years, that is probably a good thing... with the unions holding us hostage and all.

Sneaky dang unions. Maybe they can offer some bearing advice. And then there's NTN and NSK, too. Any clue?

i picked up a wheel hub bearing assembly from ebay for my legacy which seems to be doing pretty well. it was priced great but its not a name brand by any means.

Re: Rear Bearings: which brand?
Last known ( when I worked for Timken ) in 2007 the wheel bearings were made in South Carolina .. They now be made in Japan but. I do not think they have a plant in China yet . NSK is also Japan. My PO put in Timken , can't really vouch for them yet, only have about 4,000 on them.
