Paint Code
 

I've gone thru the search engine and found the list that Never2Phat has provided regarding the paint codes for the SVX.

I'm a little confused though. Which color code is for the black top for those of us that have a 2 tone car? So far, I've bought the Pearl White (267), but which is for the black? And Never2Phat listed 267/067 for Pearl White. What's the 067?

I can only guess at what the 067 is. That might be the white that goes on before the "White Mica." The paint is a three stage proposition after the primer. There is a base white coat, the mica coat and the clear.

I should probably scan the paint section of the FSM and post it, but, it would probably confuse people more, since the colors are referred to by the factory colors instead of the dealer colors.

I looked in the FSM, and I think they mention 147 or something starting with 14 when referring to the white, which got me even more confused... :confused:

while on the subject, anybody know the paintcode for the wheels (silver)? i thought i heard the later models where slightly different, so are there 2 codes?

There are actually three.

Early SVXes had a "Grey" and a "Charcoal" option. One guy I know, bought his car, brand new, off the showroom floor, and it had "Grey" on one side and "Charcoal" on the other. He didn't notice it until months after he bought it.

The later models are classified as "Silver."

Go to www.transwheel.com they have the colors, but not the codes. Anyone else actually have the codes?

Does anyone actually know the paint code for that black roof yet? Just wondering.

hello, the top of the black top svxs is 99k, in dupont, it is standard base-clear black, go to any paint store, and ask for 99 black, and thats what you need!!
