What is that cover over the coinholder? Never seen one of those.

In the '97's (...and I believe the '96's) that's where the diagnostic plugin was moved to.

Correct. My '96 also had that cover over the OBDII diagnostic port.

Feh, I was wearing fedoras before that guy was anything more than some kid playing in his parent's garage. :p

I actually used picts of yours to send to the dealer to compare conditions when I was trying to decide if it was worth the 6 hour drive to inspect/purchase her.
