It's hailing out right now....nasty!!!!

I have been known (and my roommates in college can verify this) - to lay on the hood of my car in a hail storm to prevent dents! :D

I did that for my 300ZX TT - and I'll definitely do it for my SVX!

that **** happened to me once in colorado, i cut up boxes and covered my car with them, then the hail started piercing cardboard and i just decided to let insurance pick it up from there...LOL...

On the way back from the 10th anniversary meet in Indiana we stopped in Cleveland to see the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. By doing this we missed a huge hail storm that passed through south eastern Ohio. DWayne has some hail damage on his car from that storm.


BTW, the thunderstorm we encountered in Indiana on the way to the meet was the worst I've ever seen!! Visibility was about 6 feet!

what are you talking about ?!? it doesn't hail in colorado. :rolleyes:

Any of you ever heard of a garage. I ended up in a hailstorm. Thank God that a gas station was just a few seconds away.

i had one of my cars totalled in a hail storm while at work. guess a garage should have been a decision factor when accepting the position. :(

It doesn't hail on the good side of the state.

it can hail any day at any time from may through october on colorado's front range. now who's knocking my choice to drive a 9yo geo prizm? anyone?

A 9yr old prizm makes a lot of sense when you put it that way... ;)

plus it gets 40 mpg and uses regular unleaded fuel. :)

Don't get mad at me cause it doesn't hail here. ;)
