where is this part from?! please help

Im assembling instrument panel after front harness replacement and i cant remember where is this part from!

Does anyone familiar with it?

its a metal bracket with some kind of soft black material on one verge, probably from driver side

I was just digging around in a junkyard car yesterday and remembered this question. It it attaches to the body under the ashtray between the shifter and the airbag computer.
