Sti Motor Mount On Svx

I Just Replace Mine. Stock Motor Mounts Are Too Expensive. I Bought The Sti For Sale On Subaru Parts. About $130 For Both. They Came With Mounting Plates That Have A Different Shape, So I Used The Ones On The Svx. Just With A Little Mod. Sorry I Did't Took Any Pictures. Best Best Choice. For Price And Performance!!!!!

was this all a result of a bad motor mount?

All This Problems Were Due To The Mount. Since The Engine Wasn't Staying On Place.

They Feel More Stiff. I Do Really Like Them.

Can you describe what was involved with the "little mod"? Can it be done with hand/power tools, or does it require access to a machine shop?

All There Is, Is A Mounting Plate In Between The Engine, and The Mounts. The Mounts Have 2 Escrews Sticking Out. That Are Closer To Each Other Than The Stock Motor Mounts. So All I Did Is Buy An Special Bit For My Drill, Make Bout 1/8 Of An Inch The Wole Bigger Towars The Center Until They Where Able To Mount On Top Of The Mounts.. And That Is The Only Difference From The Normal Mount Replacement.......
