New Owner

Hi, I just bought my baby last weekend. Black '92, tranny 2 y/o. Took me a few months to find one with a clean title and working tranny. I live in Seattle but I drove out to Spokane to get it. The ride back was much better than the ride there (I drove a toyota corolla rental, ick).
Anyhow, just wondered who the other svx owers in the area are.

Welcome It's great to see another car in the NW area. We have about 25 cars in the greater Seattle area (Canadian Border to Ore. Border) If you email me, I will get you a list of questions to answer - year, miles, mods etc. and I will then email the complete list to you afterwards of all of the members in the NW. I usually send out an email to all members who have given me theirs when we are going to have a meet. Good to have you here as a member. We are going to have a meet in Oct., and I hope you can make it. We are trying to get the details worked out now. :)

lets go

Any Oct. weekend, any destination, it all sounds good. I'd kind of like to see Sno. Co., since I've been wanting to drive around there anyhow, but the other ones sound fun too.

Welcome. I'm sad to say that I may not me an SVX owner much longer. I have some of the signs of the transmission going south, and everytime I fix something it seems 2 more things break. I would be working out some paper work as soon as possible, but since I would still owe the bank money for the car even though I wouldn't be owning it, I haven't made the decision yet. I do know that if I do get rid of it, I want to get an XT or GL in failry good condition and maybe do some rally mods to it. Hopefully things will work out so that I can keep the car. But unless I get a better job, or a scratch ticket worth $5000.00+ I probobly wont be able to.

sad

I hope you don't have to get rid of your svx, but I guess if you need to you need to. Sounds like a hard thing to decide. Sorry.
