Murphys Law operating.
A couple of weeks ago I sold my parts car to make room for a new toy.
Warrant due this week on SVX 95.
Mech noticed split in top radiator tank (good job he was on the ball)
$360 to have one top tank custom made!
Anyone got a radiator? or alloy top tank?

Update.
Radiator from the states NZ$230 delivered.
think I'll go that way.

Was going to be $600+ NZ to get toptank made and fitted!

The local radiator bloke was absolutely dumfounded.
And amazingly it could have been cheaper!

this is why we must share more info..we all benefit..ill never buy a car on trade me again unless i see it first after my last purchase of my red 96 svx the guy was a real con...caveat emptor...

Is the radiator you installed a Silla Radiator? Mine split a few months ago.

Don't get too worried. The one which split is the original radiator and not a Silla.
Did you buy new hoses and if so from whom?

Bought my silicon hoses from Dayle at motorsport warehouse
