Its coming together... (some photos)

Well, i figured it would be wise to go ahead and give a little update on my car. With the help of Tom, the front bumper is now assembled and mounted and I am slowly getting the necessary hardware together to remount all of the body cladding.

Warning: my car is VERY dirty in these photos because it has been sitting for quite some time. And yes, I know that the wheels are on backwards!

Photos in next post.

The inspection expired August of last year, I have been waiting for this for quite some time myself but limited funds and time constraints do not help. I would like it to be ready next weekend so that I can have it inspected and take it out for a drive. :)

I've got a set of brackets that I need to paint that are sitting in my basement, waiting for the weather to be more paint-friendly. Did you match them to body color?

Car's lookin' good!

Thanks Rob

I just did flat black for now. Eventually I will get to the finer details but first I want to get it together enough so that I can have it inspected again and make certain that no mechanical gremlins will assault me on my way to Reading. I have been so busy with work and classes that I have little time to deal with all of that.

I also am not on great terms with the body shop owner as he the shop lost several small parts of the car. I will need to perfect my painting and do the small details myself, such as brackets, lift supports, etc.

More photos this weekend, unless we have really poor weather outside.

the emblem BETTER stay that fresh looking! Lol, the WHOLE CAR better stay fresh looking

Seriously, dont let the water spots fool you..the car is in good hands, and Im sure weather permitting it will get a very very gentle wash

Mike621 03-13-2008 05:28 AM

I have every intent of hand washing it on Saturday.

What kind of grill are you planning on installing?
