If this guy/gal is the internet sales manager, maybe they'll be able to hook us up with some sweet deals like Ben @ Race Concepts... ;)

Welcome!

It is true that they have been for a long time, but it is probable that they never posted anything...
I think (but not sure, pls do not get me wrong) that the credit goes to me in their registration in this forum.... I have been buying stuff from Smallcar for quite a while, they are making me the best offers ever concerning SVX items. the guy over there (ROB) is a true friend, he is making things very easy for me concerning payment and shipping, so far i bought the clear heads and corners, ECU V4 chip, an SVX mirror, center taillight, SS brake Lines, etc........... and through all this i constantly asked him to check out our lovely forum (and in specific my car for its constantly updated mods)
I also want to add that i have also registered on this forum a very long time ago, I was first on the Shotsky yahoo network, when they announced a new forum for the SVX, i registered on it but forgot what where my username and password here...

Rumors and Facts

I'd like to clarify the confusion.

I have never been registered on this site before. Brian Steel, who is the president of this corporation, no longer handles our daily grind of internet marketing.

My name is Rob Eubank, and I am the Internet Sales Manager here at Small Car Performance. I handle all of our website sales and I build and maintain all of our eBay auctions. I have been with the company since June of 2004, when I was sought out to bring some order to our chaotic eBay business, which was abandoned suddenly by the previous eBay guy here.

I started out simply as an eBay Trading Assistant, having been a powerseller myself for years under the name: eubanksales.

Since joining the Small Car Performance team, I have done quite a bit as far as streamlining the process to increase our online sales volume. While my response time is not as fast as some, there is a reason, and that is so I can provide the best service I can for the best price.

SilverSpear is correct. I have gone to great lengths for him and for others, to accomodate needs as they arise and to get the best prices for them that I can. While I do have some discretionary power to price used/recycled items at a discount, I am somewhat limited to our retail prices when it comes to special items that we sell from our storefront. Occasionally I am asked to run specials on Headlight and Corner Light Kits, and the new Grille. Other items also come up from time to time that I can give additional discounts on, free shipping, etc.

Please be clear on this one fact: I am not a technician. I do not have a lot of technical or automotive expertise. I know just enought about cars to be dangerous. ;) Actually, I know a little about cars and how to disassemble them, how to do minor repairs, and how to avoid buying a lemon. I do not own an SVX, but I work with SVX parts daily.

Point is: I'm a salesman. Period. And a dang good one.

So, I'm here to help please the SVX community. To bring helpful answers to good questions, and to clarify points about our online and offline products. I am also willing to help locate used parts, etc. that I may never list but that we may have on the shelf.

Anyway, I'm here to help as I am able to, and not here to wage any "thread-wars" unless it's profitable. :D

I look forward to good discussions with everyone!

Best Regards,

Rob

I know I am sure happy with my shift kit on my 96 and ECU v4 on my 95.

I hope they come up with an ECU kit for the ODBII 96/97 cars. . .

I have emailed our source and asked if there is such a kit in production or already available. I will let you know when I get a reply.

The company that makes these is ECUtune. The owner, who posts here fairly regularly, goes by "longassname". His work on these has been updated and posted for a long time. Do a search for OBDII ECUtune... You'll find the history, and, most likely, the current stats - which is that he has not been able to make the kit for 96 and 97 SVXen.

Hey Dan,

Yes, I finally joined up. Thanks for referring me to this forum. Although I am not really much of a Subaru enthusiast, I have a few cars of my own that are considered rare and sought after, so I understand the affection for the SVX that so many feel.

I hope I'll have some good stuff to offer, to help keep the passion alive.

Off to bed now, I'm tired.:o

BTW, your stuff is en route.
