BRAKE PADS>> Which Kind???

I need to choose new brake pads, front and rear. Which type, brand, source should I use? I've seen ceramics, premium, standard, and of course the OEM's that I used last time. Please let me know how to choose intelligently between the ten choices they had on each of the front as well as the rear pads.

THANKS again for your help! :D

EBC DP6691

I found some by APEX that are for the front... They are kevlar and claim 30% better braking and 90% less dust... On ebay...

PADS!

Any other ideas guys? I gotta get some pads soon!

Are there some that don't squeek much, have good braking, DON"T HEAT UP THE ROTOR MUCH, and aren't too expensive?

Please tell me about the best. THANKS! :D

EBC and AXXIS

I GOOGLED! The pad # (EBC DP6691) you gave appears to not be Kevlar. I could not find a part search on that site? I emailed them.

Where do I get info on AXXIS brake pads?

THANKS GUYS! :D

PADS

I ordered EBC Greenstuff front pads (all they showed) plus Akebono ceramic pads for the rear (seemed better than OEM?) from TireRack.com.

Why not fronts and rears for EBC pads? Oh well! THIS CAR!!! :)

THANKS!!:D

Check out EndlessUSA . When I need to replace my break pads I want to get some, although I don't know which ones I want. (They have lots of different types for different uses.) I don't think anyone has these on an SVX here but Endless is a very popular and reputable company. They're a little expensive though, prices range from $130 to over $300 (for racing pads). Anyone know which compound would best suit the SVX for non-racing use?
