radiator problems
i have a 1994 svx and i cracked the radiator. i found a replacement and installed it only to find that the engine is still overheating. i then replaced the thermostat which did not seem to help. i was wondering if anyone knew of any other problems that could cause overheating after replacing the thermostat and radiator??

perhaps you have air in your coolant? your supposed to run it a little then check the levels and repeat as to not get air bubbles and stuff.... is the thermo needle moving around esp when you hit a hill?

i have tried to bleed the radiator and have done the steps you suggested but nothing seems to work. a few mechanics told me that i could have blown a head gasket. im hopoing thats not the case, but that is where my search seems to be going. i'm not sure about the hill thing, but if i hit the throttle when the temp is rising it seems to go down. ????? i really love this car and would love to keep it, but if anyone would like to buy it let me know and we shall see.

Pressure
Does your cooling system pressurize quickly? This was a symptom of my car's head gasket going. It would partially pressurize the cooling system just cranking it over. My top hose was rock hard in around twenty seconds. Steve
