smallcar shift kit

does anyone have the smallcar "shift kit"? if so, or you had it once, what were the results? did it help? did it last?

shift kit

My friend put one on his camaro. It may be a different car, but it is still the same concept. His tranny did not like it very much, so I can only imagine what it does to ours. Just my opinion.

how long have you had it? no funny effects on the tranny?

ensteele 01-23-2005 05:09 PM

It should be easier on the tranny. :)

Shift kit

Yeah, I've got one too, my tranny's only got 6,000 miles on it so I did not notice much difference, but it is a little firmer shifting.

To get firmer shifts you can adjust the small allen key in the shift kit. I have mine as firm as possible and it shifts almost as hard as with the resistor unplugged.
