A little AK rally-x
 

A course is being set up in downtown Anchorage for a SCCA sponsored rally this 27th.

I'm signing up to rep the X.

Any predictions?

I've never legally driven off-road.

The one "illegal" time was last winter when I was ran off the road onto the sidewalk. :rolleyes:

Unsure what "rep" means. Any participation whether it be marshalling, competing, or just watching should be fun though.

He did actually suggest that he would be driving in the event.

Nik, knowing the number of major problems your car typically has at any given time, I wouldn't recommend it.

But then, you've never payed much attention to my recommendations. So have fun and be safe. And don't say I didn't warn you. :p

"legally" off-road? What's so illegal about driving off-road? Aside from maybe a trespassing charge, one doesn't need a license or insurance or even a fully functioning brain to spin donuts in mom's flower garden...

Read the thread on the rally, Nik. Sounds like a great event! I hope you get enough people to make it happen. I'd hate to see all the effort the organizers put into it go to waste because not enough people showed up. Make sure you represent us well! :cool:
