Wow, well spotted. If only I had £600 and a space to park another SVX.:(

IBTWAOB.

It's on my watch list.

The main problem is the fact that I also am on my wife's watch list.

to add insult to injury......I'm sure this SVX was on offer about 3 weeks ago with a starting bid of only £300!!! and no res....and no takers:confused:

It's not really a good deal at the money.

You have to fix the gearbox. You have to replace the broken glass. You have to replace the radio. You have to repair or more likely replace the torn seat. You have to replace the wipers. The paint looks shot. You need new keys and locks.

After all that you don't know what other problems surface until you have it running.

£600 plus that lot and you are well over two grand, probably heading for three.

Meantime I could sell you a perfect working SVX, no faults, for £1000?

Doesn't add up.

Joe

Is your silver UK '95 still for sale Joe? That's a tidy car for a grand. Or were you talking about the S40?

It's still for sale Phil and it still has tax until May.

No, you are correct, it is the S40 I would sell for a grand. I need 2 grand for the 95. As you say, it is very tidy.

But if anybody is interested, I'll haggle downwards, space is an issue.

Joe

[Plus it's a good car and it is better if it is kept used, not parked. :) ]

Are you seriously interested in buying a car Tom? I have two I will sell, both silver.

One is a '94 JDM S40 version, about 120K miles [it's at Graham's place in Somerset England]

The other is a '95 UK car with 92K miles and has the usual UK spec, all the bells and whistles.

JDM pic:

UK car pics

JDM car is £1000, UK car is £2000. Both cars are good, needing minor things tidied.

Tell me what you would like to do, I can send loads of pics and information.

BTW, the JDM car does not now have the JDM spoiler in the pic. Mark the previous owner fitted it to his red UK car, sorry if that's a disappointment.

Let me know what you want to do,

Joe :)

Would you buy a used car from this man.....

It's excellent Phil, thanks.

I feel as hazy as the picture looks every morning until around 11, when the coffee kicks in.

:rolleyes::lol:

My worst fear is getting it transported all the way to the states and then not being able to register it.... What does the VIN on the car(s) look like??

Tom

You need to talk to Ron, Need for Speed. It is extremely difficult to get a car accepted for registration.

I'll photograph the VIN and send it to you.

Joe

Tom

The car can not be brought in until it is at least 15 years old. That is what they told me at the boarder when I asked about bringing in the RHD. :(
