Possibly going deep into debt, but would be oh so worth it.

Yumm... drives on rails, super light and ridiculously high redline.... mmm get it!

SSSVX 04-08-2007 01:01 PM

Beautiful!

Only less than $30,000.....get it! :D

Ricochet 04-08-2007 02:13 PM

He said he'd be happy to get $25k for it.

ensteele 04-08-2007 02:39 PM

The car looks good. Would you be happy with 2 wheel drive? :D :D

Ricochet 04-08-2007 03:05 PM

I'd have 6 wheel drive, 2 for weekends and 4 for everything else :)

SubaruKidSVX 04-08-2007 05:17 PM

I really like those, but I don't know if it is 25K worth. We had one a while ago and it was a great car, but the turbos are real strange alot of power, but fragile. Good luck with it.

Landshark 04-08-2007 10:24 PM

i've always loved those, but i'd never own one.

i especially wouldn't spend $29,000 on a car with an engine rebuild coming any minute .....

msvx95 04-09-2007 10:36 AM

Yeah exactly...I mean the previous owner had to have redlined that car every day...who wouldn't....You can't tell by looking at the outside of the car though....LOL
I'd basically call it a 30+K car...you'd want to take it to a mechanic to have the engine checked and that won't be cheap...Nice car though.

Ricochet 04-09-2007 10:53 AM

There are a handful of high caliber 7's on the local forum I help moderate and I asked them about it. They said offer $20k, if he wants more don't bother.

Chiketkd 04-09-2007 12:49 PM

That's a beautiful car Brian. If you can afford it and your budget will be able to handle the monthly payments and maintenance costs...go for it!

The handling of those cars is second-to-none!

Ricochet 04-09-2007 01:01 PM

I'll be debt-free coming out of this toilet, and with a paid off 5mt svx to boot . Kinda wish I was single so a chick-getter would actually be allowed to get chicks :(

drivemusicnow 04-09-2007 01:38 PM

Yeah... The only RX7 I'd ever own would either be entirely stock with the exception of a HUGE radiator, huge oil cooler, and a quality turbo timing/electric oil pump, or would have an LS1/LS7 under the hood, and a fully modified track suspension.

You couldn't pay me to take a modified RX7 that still has that rotary, even if it does look like sex.

Ricochet 04-09-2007 01:58 PM

And you couldn't pay me to take a spontaneously-combustable modded dsm :)

Chiketkd 04-09-2007 02:29 PM

+1 For all the problems RX-7's have, I'd take one anyday over a DSM. Heck, if you want a problem free car, swap in an LS1/2/6/7 V8 and be done with it!
