svx spotted in an army commercial
 

Here in Iraq we don't have normal commercials like back home, they're all hokey military commercials with horrible acting preaching safety, what foods to eat, where to see a chaplain, etc. In this commercial there was some guy telling us how to avoid slips trips and falls. He'd walk over where somebody just mopped and he'd slip, then he was walking outside in a parking lot (right by a maroon svx) and tripped over something. It was a stupid commercial just like all the other ones we're forced to watch, but there was an svx in it so.. yeah.

And you don't have a copy of the commercial? Was it on AFN?

Ahhhh..... I was offering to send him some nonmilitary commercials. In case he's home sick and misses the 15 minutes of commercials for every 1 hour program.

Brother...I don't miss that at all. I get SkyTV (Great Britain) and I get all kinds of channels with all kinds of commercials.

Ah yes, good ole AFN... I remember it from my days in the Gulf, as well as at Mildenhall. Various other short term locations as well.
