What's the point of this thread????

sharky512345 08-31-2004 02:15 PM

the point? have you heard of gmail before? gmail is a free email service that google started a little while ago. it is still in the testing stages so the only way to get an account is to be invited. you also get a 1000 MB inbox.

where have you been the past month? under a rock?

Add me to Chris' under the rock society. Yahoo has free E-Mail as well.

100mb is more than i'll ever need.

i personally don't want advertisements based on the crap i get in my email. lol

immortal_suby 08-31-2004 07:29 PM

I haven't had a single popup on my gmail and haven't noticed if there are any ads.

I get ads daily on my hotmail with flashing pictures of hot blondes (not that there's anything wrong with that)

abandoned yahoo mail long ago - I hate popups, yahoo is the popup master.

I have 6 gmail invites to burn also - if anyone wants one PM me.

I've been using Yahoo's email since 1997, and I don't ever remember having a problem with popups. They may have experimented with them years ago (like I said, I don't remember), but they certainly aren't doing any popups now.
