Abs sensor
I need to remove the right rear abs sensor but I am not sure of the procedure. Does is just twist out or is there something else I need to know?

Kidding, I am sure you already did that. Need to be careful but it does "slip out" with a bit of twisting and patience. Little "rust buster" will probably be necessary. Careful, They are easy to damage. Good luck Keith:) |
Re: Abs sensor
from my experience, if you're not sure the sensor is broken.. chances are the magnet might just need a clean

Re: Abs sensor
just had mine out for bearing work and what i did was spray it with pb blaster and GENTLY tapped on the ear the bolt goes thru with a flat screwdriver to get it turning. Before i put it back i wire brushed the hole and used a little anti seize be careful not to get any on the tip.hope this helps.patience is key.

Re: Abs sensor
Well, I worked it loose but it appears its broken and part of it is wedged in the hole. Any suggestions on getting out the stuck parts? The wire was broken for a long time and that is why I was trying to remove it. I don't really know what it should look like.
